Your Merzouga desert tour from Marrakech begins at 8:30 a.m. Depart in comfort across the High Atlas Mountains, ascending the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m). Admire breathtaking mountain views and picturesque Berber villages.
Visit the world-famous Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed site and filming location for classics like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Africa,” for a relaxing lunch and short sightseeing.
Journey along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs toward the stunning Dades Valley, where you’ll settle into a charming guesthouse overlooking the red rock gorges. Dinner and overnight in Dades.
After breakfast, explore the spectacular Dades Gorges before heading to the Todra Gorges, a natural wonder famous for its towering cliffs and crystal-clear river.
Continue through Tinjdad and Erfoud, renowned for fossil discoveries, before arriving in Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Meet your camel and embark on a sunset camel trek across the golden sands to your luxury desert camp. Upon arrival, enjoy a refreshing mint tea and a traditional Moroccan dinner around the campfire.
Spend the night under a canopy of stars, accompanied by Berber drums, storytelling, and the peaceful silence of the Sahara Desert Morocco.
Wake early to witness the magnificent sunrise over the Sahara dunes, a truly magical experience. After breakfast at the camp, ride your camel or transfer by 4x4 back to Merzouga for showers and refreshments.
Then begin your scenic drive back to Marrakech, passing through desert landscapes, Berber villages, and the High Atlas Mountains once more. Enjoy leisurely stops for photos and lunch along the way.
You’ll arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon (around 17:00–18:00), marking the end of your incredible 3 Days Merzouga Desert Tour and Camel Trek.
