Embark on an unforgettable 14-day journey through Morocco, starting in Marrakech. This trip follows the famous Kasbah Trail, offering a deep dive into Moroccan culture and stunning landscapes. You’ll meet locals in small villages and experience rich history alongside breathtaking scenery. This adventure combines vibrant cities with dramatic desert vistas, creating lasting memories.

Day1: Arrival in Marrakech Airport

Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, we’ll greet you warmly and transfer you to your hotel or riad. After settling in, relax and prepare for the adventure ahead. You'll spend the night in Marrakech.

Day2: Guided Tour of Marrakech

Today, discover the wonders of Marrakech, known as the “Southern Pearl” of Morocco. This historic city has long been a key stop for traders and travelers. A guided tour will take you to the beautiful Menara Gardens, the famous Jardin Majorelle, the stunning Bahia Palace, and the ancient Saadian tombs. You’ll also see the impressive Koutoubia Mosque and experience the lively atmosphere of Djemaa el-Fna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finally, explore Marrakech's vibrant souks. You will spend another peaceful night in Marrakech.

Day3:Marrakech to Essaouira (202 km)

We’ll leave Marrakech and head towards the picturesque coastal town of Essaouira. The drive is scenic, lined with argan oil cooperatives. This UNESCO World Heritage-listed gem awaits! Explore the charming medina, stroll along the fortified ramparts, or relax on the beach. If you visit in June, consider attending the Gnaouas Music Festival. You’ll spend the night in a local riad in Essaouira.

Day4: Essaouira to Oualidia (205 km)

Today's journey takes us from Essaouira to Oualidia. We will stop in Safi, known for its pottery and Portuguese history. Safi is also famous for exporting sardines. Upon arrival in Oualidia, a beautiful coastal village between a peaceful lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean, you can walk, birdwatch, fish, swim, kayak or try surfing. You’ll spend the night in Oualidia.

Day5: Oualidia to Rabat (288 km)

Leaving Oualidia, we'll travel along the scenic Atlantic Coast towards Rabat. Along the way, we will stop in El Jadida, a UNESCO World Heritage site with a fascinating history, and Casablanca where you’ll visit Mohammed V Square and the grand Hassan II Mosque. In Rabat, explore the Mechouar (Royal Palace walls), the Mohammed V Mausoleum, the historic Hassan Tower, and the beautiful Oudaya Kasbah. You'll also have time to visit artisan galleries. You will spend the night in Rabat.

Day6: Rabat to Tangier (251 km)

We continue our journey from Rabat to Tangier, traveling along a stunning coastal road. On the way, we’ll visit Asilah, a charming seaside town known for its whitewashed buildings and colorful murals. Arriving in Tangier, the gateway between Africa and Europe, you'll discover its rich international history. Wander through the lively medina and enjoy breathtaking views where the Mediterranean and Atlantic oceans meet. You will spend an overnight stay in Tangier.

Day7: Tangier to Chefchaouen (112 km)

From Tangier, we’ll journey to the enchanting mountain village of Chefchaouen. The drive passes through picturesque valleys in the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen is famed for its blue-hued houses and is a popular destination, especially in summer. Explore Chefchaouen's winding lanes, home to vibrant souks offering unique cuisine and artisanal goods. You can relax in the town square or explore nearby parks. Spend the night in Chefchaouen.

Day8: Guided Tour of Fez

After breakfast, we’ll drive through the Rif Mountains to Volubilis, an open-air museum featuring ancient Roman ruins. Next, travel to Meknes, one of Morocco's four imperial cities. Enjoy lunch and explore the historic medina walls, visit the grand Bab el Mansour gate, and see the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Afterward, continue to Fez, where you will spend the night.

Day9: Guided Tour of Fez

Today, dive into the wonders of Fez with a guided city tour. As the world’s oldest and largest medieval city, Fez offers an immersive experience within its bustling medina. Explore mosques, palaces, and follow themed tourist routes to navigate the maze-like streets. Remember that only Muslims are allowed inside mosques. Visit the lively dye-pits and tanneries. Consider a special Moroccan dining and entertainment experience at a local restaurant.

Day10: Fez to Merzouga via Ifrane, Azrou, Ziz Gorges, and Erfoud (460 km)

After breakfast, we’ll set off on a scenic journey through the Moyen Atlas Mountains, passing through cork oak and cedar forests, home to Barbary apes. Enjoy breathtaking mountain views as you travel through peaceful passes. Stop for lunch in Midelt. Continuing through the Ziz Valley, head south to Erfoud and Rissani. As the landscape shifts to desert, arrive at the edge of Merzouga’s golden sand dunes. Unwind by the swimming pool at your Kasbah hotel, and enjoy a live performance by a desert blues band in the evening.

Day11: Merzouga – Nomad Families and Erg Chebbi Exploration

Begin with a breathtaking desert sunrise before returning to the hotel on camelback. Freshen up and enjoy breakfast. Next, explore the towering dunes, the Merzouga oasis, and the village of Khamlia, where Gnawa people share their music. Meet desert nomads in their traditional tents. Visit the scenic Merzouga Lake. After lunch in Rissani, return to your Kasbah. As the sun sets, walk into the golden dunes and enjoy stunning views. End your day with dinner, traditional music, and an overnight stay in a nomad tent under the stars.

Day12: Merzouga to Todra Gorges and Dades Valley (255 km)

Say goodbye to the desert as you travel to Todra Gorge, often called Morocco’s Grand Canyon. Be amazed by the towering limestone cliffs. Continue your journey to the beautiful Dades Valley for an overnight stay.

Day13: Dades Valley to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou (326 km)

After breakfast, travel through charming villages with stunning High Atlas Mountain views. Your journey continues to Ouarzazate, with a detour to visit Berber nomads. Pass through the Valley of the Roses. In Ouarzazate, visit the cinematographic museum. Explore Ait Benhaddou. Head north across the High Atlas Mountains, taking in spectacular scenery. Arriving in Marrakech, enjoy an overnight stay.

Day14: Leisure Day in Marrakech – Departure

Take advantage of your remaining time in Marrakech. Stroll through the souks or soak in the city’s atmosphere. Later, we'll arrange your transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport for your departure flight.
