Itinerary

We at Toubkal Experience organises Atlas trekking and Toubkal Treks. After hotel pick up in Marrakech at 8 a.m. we drive towards the High Atlas Mountains, after we arrive to Imlil, you meet the local Toubkal trek team (best guides & muleteer). We set off for the adventure Toubkal trek via Aroumd village and we follow a mule path, we enjoy the hike through the Sharine Sidi Chamharouch. We reach the Toubkal base camp for overnight with dinner.

After breakfast we make our attempt on the summit of Jbel Toukbal, which is the highest peak in Northern Africa. The hike is relatively straightforward. The views along the way make the Atlas trek more than worthwhile. Once we reach the summit you will experience the surrounding landscape of the Marrakech Plain and the Sahara desert. We will then return down to the base camp after having lunch we hike back towards Imlil. Then we transfer you back to Marrakech hotel.

Our 5 days Toubkal and Merzouga desert tour continues and we will pick you up from your accommodation , then drive through the High Atlas mountains and we cross the Tichka Pass 2260 m. We will visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou which is world heritage site by Unesco. After lunch we explore Atlas studios in Ouarzazate and we continue to Skoura and Boulmane Dades passing the valley of Roses. Arrival at your hotel in Dades for dinner and an overnight.

After breakfast at the hotel, we tour Dades valley, see "the monkey toes," and the 19th-century Kasbah of Ait Yul. Leave Dades for Tinrghir and Todra. Admire the valley's historic mud Berber settlements. Walk under the 300m red cliff in the Gorge, where rock-climbers like to climb. Continue to Erfoud and Rissani for lunch; then head to Merzouga, where your camel awaits. Before you saddle your camel, accompanied by an expert Camelman, you explore the Erg-Chebbi. You'll sleep under the stars or in a Berber nomad tent.

After watching the sunrise we ride camels back to Merzouga after the breakfast and take shower in Hotel then start our journey backing to Ouarzazate via Agdz . We arrive to Ouarzazate for lunch and in afternoon we continue to Marrakech.

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!
